After following a meandering career path that started with a degree in philosophy, some years in commercial real estate and private equity, a brief stop in law school, and then more than a decade of nonprofit fundraising, Angie has landed as a personal financial planner. During the day, she works with high net worth individuals; during off hours, she’s balancing her family’s budget and helping relatives navigate spending, saving, insuring, and bequeathing.
She has raised millions of dollars for various causes including international development and poverty relief, health care, women’s issues, and education, and remains deeply committed to philanthropy and its ability to transform the world. She currently sits on the Board of Directors of a perinatal mental health organization in Washington State.
The constant in her professional experiences has been the depth of conversations she has had about any number of topics, but especially about money – how it works, and how it can change lives (for better or worse). Her natural curiosity about others has created dialogues that educate and empower.
Angie is a true girl-on-the-go, fueled largely by coffee, jalapeño beef sticks and various Erewhon wellness finds. On any given day, she’s balancing rush hour commutes and water cooler chat with cheer mom and football wife duties, cooking for kids and feeding dogs, while daydreaming of the sun, in Seattle.
